Custom Software Programs
OptimumG has a strong history of creating software programs that help automotive companies and race teams with their vehicle dynamics and data acquisition needs. From Hardware in the Loop to Live Timing & Scoring, OptimumG has created personalized programs for clients to assist in data management across entire organizations in an easy-to-use interface.
A few of our past projects include:
Race Management Automatically generate reports based on timing and scoring, set-up evolution, data analysis, “key performance indicators”, conditions, and more.
Live Timing & Scoring Display data in real time, both graphically and numerically, for pit lane use and later review.
Hardware in the Loop Calculate and display live values as they are obtained from a data acquisition system. Our Tire Force Calculator calculated forces and moments live, based on slip angle sensors and a vehicle model.
Data Analysis Database Store and display KPIs over a session, an event, a season or multiple years.

New Consulting Packages - Tire Testing
We've been putting together new packages for our vehicle dynamics consulting side. The first of these is a new tire testing program for those race teams that are in need of a tire model and data analysis, but may not have the time to research and develop a strategy that works best for them.
The acquisition and analysis of data is an essential component when designing and manufacturing any vehicle. As the only elements of the car in contact with the ground, tires are the most important component of your vehicle. Intelligent use of tire data helps to quickly and accurately design and set up a car.
There are a number of ways to obtain useful tire data. As an introductory package, OptimumG will extract data from three front tires and three rear tires. Our engineers will then send back the data and an analysis, along with a Pacejka tire model. By partnering with tire testing facilities, OptimumG is able to offer a low-cost and fast solution for teams in need of tire data and its analysis, and a tire model.
A personalized tire data package can also be arranged for those teams that need more information.
